O.K... So I plan on swaping my 5sfe for a heavily built 3sgte with aprox 500hp. I was originally planing on just using my current trans. But people are telling me that the 5sfe trans are weak and won't hold the power. The engine I'm buying is the gen 3 st205 motor and it comes with the awd trans. Is there anyway to convert it to fwd? And if I did would it be any stronger than the one I have? Or should I use the MR2 trans.? And what the hell is the difference? frown.gif

Gratz to your cousin.
but last time i looked around a TOYOTA forum... no one on a FWD platform and eclipsed itchy's 330.

yes i know there are some hondas and nissans with stupid 500+ whp...but imo those are dyno queens.

500whp is fail. period.

if your serious about this., e153, with ALOT of suspesion work to make it stick. i suggest talking to reko's cousin.
