So i have seen people fit 6x9's into the rear speaker locations with some slight moddifications and keeping it look stock, i am wondering if i can squeeeezzzzee in some 8" subs into that location while keeping the facotry plastic. So that it still looks stock from the outside.
I was thinking i could use a thin sub, i know JL Audio make a 13" sub that is only 2.5, and pioneer makes a 10" thin one... but i was wondering if anyone has any expeirence with thin subs from other companies, or if anyone has tried to hide some subs back there before? -------------------- 1 JL 1,000/1v2

have you ever taken the rear panel off??? the only way i see it happening is with some crazy fiberglass work after chunking out the rear speaker + bracket..
your better off fitting some high quality 6 inch subs and running a small amp to them.....the rear subs from an Audi TT coupe with bose would be a good bet, i loved the way they sounded on my friends TT and the best thing is they dont need an enclosure.. |
