 7afe to 5sfe swap? |

searched and there were too many results... what would it take... i found a mint corolla motor with about 40K on it... wondering what i would need... could i use the tranny i have on my 7afe

So, you have an st with a 7AFE alreaedy in it and want to install a 5sfe?
If so, that is pretty much a pointless swap. If you found a mint corolla engine it wouldn't be a 5sfe anyways.... i am just confused with what you are asking. I think you need to do more research or to edit your post. To answer the question if the 7afe transmission would work on a 5sfe the answer is.. No it wil not. They are two completely different configurations If you search and there are too many results, refine your search. This question has been asked several times. -------------------- |
