crap, when i bought my 6th gen, water had been in the high beam for so long, it was brown and green.

I drilled a hole into the bottom of the assy to lett the water out (toilet effect) but the damn thing is so dirty, i plan to just replace it. they are cheap enough (i'm scared to open it, the smell would probably hurt someone.)

Otherwise you can remove the lense, and clean it out. Re-seal it better than origonal. Or just add some scilicone to the outside. IDK. where are your rubber gaskets?

I did the same a long time ago. Then I took some bleach/water mix and sprayed it in the back (through the bulb hole) and it cleaned up the inside pretty good. The mix drains out the hole and just leave the bulb out for a day it dries everything up.
