When i put the key in the drivers door lock, the key wont move the lock left or right, its stuck. The door handle is also loose on the right side so it seems as though one of the nuts that holds it to the door has come loose. I havnt had time to pull the door panel off and take a look at it, but what could be causing the door lock to be stuck and not lock or unlock?

And on the passenger side, i can unlock the doors and i can go to the drivers door and open it, but the passenger side door doesnt open, even if the door is unlocked from the inside. I have to lock the door, and turn the key to the left 2 times and the door pops but locks again, then i have to unlock it again and the door opens.

What exactly is causing these issues with the locks? Is it just worn or cracked connectors?

It sounds like the lock cylinders are loose or something, or the rods that connect the lock to the latch to allow the door to open are disconnected or the plastic clips on them are cracked. Really the only way to know is for you to take the inside panels off the doors and nose around in there and see what you can see. I'd start by making sure everything is clipped tightly and all the little bolts and nuts are tight and secure.

As to the d/s key not going left or right... could also be because something is loose behind it and not holding it stationary enough to allow the teeth of the key to line up to the cylinders. Quick and easy thing to do first though is get lock graphite, put it on your key, and apply liberally to the inside of the cylinder. If it still doesn't go left or right, and you're sure nothing is loose, my next guess would be that your key is messed up. Is it the only key you have? You can go to a dealership and by providing your VIN number, they can make you a new master key. It costs about twelve bucks.
