When i put the key in the drivers door lock, the key wont move the lock left or right, its stuck. The door handle is also loose on the right side so it seems as though one of the nuts that holds it to the door has come loose. I havnt had time to pull the door panel off and take a look at it, but what could be causing the door lock to be stuck and not lock or unlock?

And on the passenger side, i can unlock the doors and i can go to the drivers door and open it, but the passenger side door doesnt open, even if the door is unlocked from the inside. I have to lock the door, and turn the key to the left 2 times and the door pops but locks again, then i have to unlock it again and the door opens.

What exactly is causing these issues with the locks? Is it just worn or cracked connectors?

Your solutions sound like they may work, at least for the time being until you get something more permanent figured out. It really might just be worth taking your VIN number to a dealership and finding out how much new lock cylinders would run, that way you don't have to deal with two separate keys for your doors and your ignition.
