The 4A-GE will drop in fairly easily, but you'll have troubles with some things such as the power steering and a couple other small things. The 4A-GZE requires a lot more modification, and I've yet to see a finished installation of this engine. John has had a lot of trouble with his 4A-GZE swap.
With either swap, wiring is going to be very tough, and your harnesses will both require extensive modification. I'm currently doing the 20V AE101 4A-GE swap, and it should be done soon, so I'll let everyone know how it turns out. Also, Xpander has done the swap before, and his car is done. Hope this helps. ![]() -------------------- New Toyota project coming soon...
