I am happy to say that I am finally starting my swap. I have a 94 GT 5sp.
I am putting a st185 jdm alltrak engine. I will be keeping my tranny to make the swap easier. as I was reading the stickies on the swap i read that I should have gotten a clip. Well too late. I already bought the engine and most vital components. On the sticky post I read I need engine ecu wiring harness 3rd ecu plug afm ignitor coil injector resistor pack fuel pump resistor fuel pump relay turbo pressure sensor air intake piping well I don’t know if I have all parts so I took pictures of them and I hope you guys and girls help me labeling each one of them. I am hoping I have everything. This post has been edited by y2komar: Sep 19, 2010 - 4:24 PM -------------------- |

I have an automatic transmission mated to a 3S-GTE from a JDM carlos sainz. I used a Powertrain Control Solutions trans controller to control the transmission. There are no non-electronic transmissions suitable to handle the torque generated by this engine. (they won't last longer than 4 weeks worth of driving). On your compliance plate in your engine bay, what is the code of your transmission? A###E or A###L ? |
