ok...so i just put a new motor in my car....it feels like its running ok but it just doesnt have the power it used to...and this motor has had some stuff done to it...but i put a step hotter spark plugs in it....is that my prob? should i lean it out a little more than normal w/ these plugs? it seems to b running very rich now? thanx.

just been rebuilt...

Head:

Port and polish
3angle valve job
and its been decked

and the block has been bored .040
it has ~10.5- 11-1 compression.

besides that...everything is just new...
i have an SAFC to tune w/ but i wouldnt think id have to do much tuning for it to run good? right?

Tuning it will make a difference, but you will have to buy a wideband to get the right AFR throughout the power band.

so u dnt think the plugs r my problem? jus needs to b tuned.

I would go to a dyno and get a good tune then go from there. You will also need a wideband, or some shops can provide one for tuning purposes.
