First off yes i did search but could need find concreate answers on everything. I learned today that my front right cv boot has been torn for probably awhile. Tirekingdom quoated me 199.00 for the axle. (i was already in there about a tire). I am going to my mechanic to get it done. My question is what should i excpect as far as pricing? The Right front axle and cv boot needs to be replaced.

i did my passenger side a few months ago.. changing the bearing carrier is pretty simple if you have a bearing press. lucky for me i have one in my garage now the fist time i did it (on a 1990 acura legend) with no bearing press and snap ring pliers it took me, my dad and my neighbor roughly 3 hours to get the damned bearing carrier swapped. we used a hammer, a pick and a screwdriver lol
