ok so i threw a CEL and I came up with a "Insufficient EGR Flow"
I'm going to start working on it now, but if anyone has some insight I would love to hear it! -------------------- The question is not how far. The question is, do you possess the constitution, the depth of faith, to go as far as is needed? |

on a 5sfe, it's a pain in the hassle. lol. It's whats kept me for doing mine for a while. (i've got an infant though, so i've got limited working time) The big tube that Batman was talking about, is like a 24 or 26MM and it's a pain to get to. You have to go between the head and the throttle body/air intake area. The line cannot be taken off directly by the EGR (atleast it isn't possible for me )
Clean that filter first though!! I cleaned mine and that was that. (i'll come on for a few miles about every 2 weeks or so) but i've got to goto the toyo dealer when it opens back up (recent hurricane devistated my local toyo place) and buy a new one. Also, check all your hoses to see that nothing is clogged up. Try that first, then if it fails, go ahead and clean it out. EGR's dont really go "bad" I'd replace all the hoses & filters before buying a new one. Hope it helps. G/L. -------------------- QUOTE (presure2 @ Nov 6, 2010 - 6:16 AM) Via FB: fcuking awsome!!!
