Okay. It's late. 2:30 am..

I just went to the gas station for a pack of smokes. When I was getting
out of my car, I hear what sounded like an import pulling into the parking
lot.

I look and see this local hillbilly dude in his Ford Contour. He threw on some
performance, honda-esque muffler, took the hubcaps off his wheels, sprayed
them black, and put some racing stickers in his rear windows.

I'm anything but a "car bully"...but are these people for real? I would feel
like the biggest ass driving around in a fraudulent "street racer"...

The only thing he was missing was the cardboard body kit.

I seriously laughed out loud in the parking lot. It's insulting to those of us
who spend every day under our hoods and in our cars.

yeah, i never sanded the body filler or nothing... left it as was, called it "texture"

I also said it was a color changing car... as the years went by the lack of paint turned to rust so it went from silver to red.


I also put carpet across the dash and doors and put stick-velcro on everything i owned (cell phone; Keys*; ect.) and would stick my stuff in award places

people would laugh, the folks at the track would laugh... everyone would laugh until i put my foot down
