Ok, so I drop off my GF at work and I am on my way home down a fairly wide street, 2 lanes on each side. Speed limit 35mph. So I am in the right lane and I need to make a left pretty soon so I check my mirrors and there is a truck in the left lane, I speed up a little bit closer to the car in front of me and I hear the truck honk at me. By this time I was only assesing if I had enough room for the lane change, not swerving that way and I didnt have my blinker on and this A$$ HONKS! I'm like, "Ahh hell no". He starts to speed up to close my opening, and push the gas and have enough room so I move over, not anywhere near scraping of bumpers or anything. (see image below)

So he is now behind me. He then pulls into the right lane and proceeds to start yelling at me with my window, and his window up. I give him the flying finger and proceed to pay attention to the road! Well, I just leave my finger erect for about 30 seconds and he starts digging in his car for something, turns out it was a badge! W00T! So I roll down my window and he starts yelling at me to pull over, "screw that" I thought and sped up out of eye to eye view, he catches back up and says I am a police officer, you better pull over so we can have a little chat. I knew my rights by then and knew I didnt have to pull over but I didnt want this damn cop following me home and giving me future troubles! So I make super quick lane changes, in front of him, in front of another car (its 3 lanes by now) and over to the curb, I pulled over so fast he almost couldnt keep up. HA! so he pulls into a parking lot and proceeds to come to my car and yell at me about my wreckless lane change, and I argue back saying you should not have honked at me and not let me in! Well he says I should slow down, and I say I wasnt speeding, I didnt say you were speeding... blah blah he continues, cussing, and calling me an asshole. Gives me the speal of when you kill a loved one, I was pissed by this point and ignoring him. I say I did nothing wrong and he says he will call a cop from the town were in (we were in campbell which is a suberb, and he was a san jose cop which is the main city) and he says that cop will give me a citation. Well, once again I know whats up and know this cant happen because the citing officer has to witness the traffic violation commited! Eventually he gets tired of yelling and leaves me alone, but hey I got to flip off a cop!

Well, I agree that not all cops are as$holes. Just the other day I got a speeding ticket and the officer was extremely nice, explained all of my options, asked me to slow it down a little, and bid me a good day.
