Ok.. So I'm thinking of switching from my current head unit to a double DIN. The reason being is this... My head unit is playin-up (it's a face-off type and the connector seems dodgy). There's a guy I work with selling a brand new double DIN head unit I'm interested in. This thing plays DVD's, has a 6.5" touchscreen LCD, Bluetooth, TV, MP3, WMA and DivX compatible, has connection for Ipod/Zen, etc, etc... the list goes on and on...

He only wants £60 for it too!!

Only one problem...

The face doesn't come off, which worries me as the unit will be on display 24/7 and might tempt someone to break into my car kindasad.gif

What do you guys think?

well first of all, there is not that many double din receivers that have the detachable screen feature,,,
some jvc new receivers have em,,
that is what i will get next week,, the newest double din from jvc, which actually received the 2008 CEA Innovations Award...
awesome receiver. cant go wrong with that.
About the alarm,,, well, you get what you pay..
look for a descent one.
