i was reading the 4age and 4agze posts and it says the 4age is used more for racing applications and the 4agze more for street driving...my question is why? do race teams turbo the 4age? or do they just beef up the internals so much that it produces insane amounts of power while staying NA. im just curious more than anything...not planning on swapping (i have a gt-but mostly funds)

so first of all what do you mean when you say its different than a higher comp 4age...how? what were the 4age's originally put in for racing? and when you talk about turboing the 4agze, these teams would remove the supercharger...not have both? i've heard of some guys having both superchargers and turbos for quick boost and then higher boost numbers....so how come coomer and others would put a 4age in as opposed to the 4agze? and is a 4agze just a supercharged 4age...b/c i know the 3sgte is not at all the same as a 3sge.

let me know if this makes sense i may not be asking the right questions...
