Ok.. So I'm thinking of switching from my current head unit to a double DIN. The reason being is this... My head unit is playin-up (it's a face-off type and the connector seems dodgy). There's a guy I work with selling a brand new double DIN head unit I'm interested in. This thing plays DVD's, has a 6.5" touchscreen LCD, Bluetooth, TV, MP3, WMA and DivX compatible, has connection for Ipod/Zen, etc, etc... the list goes on and on...
He only wants £60 for it too!! Only one problem... The face doesn't come off, which worries me as the unit will be on display 24/7 and might tempt someone to break into my car What do you guys think? This post has been edited by Racer_J: Sep 20, 2008 - 10:52 AM -------------------- |

Cheers!! LOL,
Yeah, I know, it's not straight but I'm working on it!! At least I got it in there though! I've recessed it into the dash a little, allows me to cover it up when I'm not in the car. It's like a couple of mm higher on the right than the other side, so need to adjust it. (not sure how I'm gonna do that as I've used the original Celica bracket on the right-hand side - I'll have to make a new bracket) -------------------- |
