You all may or may not no about the history of the blue 3sgte that I bought...Well I now have the black 5sfte and my boyfriend Jim and his brother joey are working on re swapping the blue car with the st205...well instead they bought a wrc st205..The process has just started and its going very smoothly..presure2 and alltracman98 are standing by to help work on the car and help us out since they are the brains to the celica. Pics below with more to come as the process continues.
What do you all think? Ill be taking new pics very soon bc these were snapped quick the day we got the engine. This post has been edited by supershannon77: Jun 26, 2009 - 6:40 AM -------------------- |

ok, so, jim and shannon came up last weekend, and dropped off the motors, and chassis to me.
we've been waiting on a clutch disk, and have ordered some new OEM parts for the car and motor, and hopfully will be getting things up and running here real soon. in the meantime, i had jimbo bring me up some reflective heat tape, to wrap the bottom of his intercooler with, much like Dustin did on his 205 swap and the UK guys like to do. a couple pics: the stuff we used. we got it from www.summitracing.com . IIRC it was ~51$, for a 4'X3' peice, which is PLEANTY to do the IC twice, and still have lots left over for god knows what! lol the IC before: starting the first layer: 2nd layer: we also picked them up an oil filter sandwich plate from www.twosrus.com , because with the 205 IC and associated lines, ect, there really isnt enough room for the oil pressure sender where most people normally put it. just as an FYI, the oil filter threads are 3/4-16. more to come soon! -------------------- Former Team 5SFTE pro member ;)
