Sorry to be making these useless threads, but I need some insight. I'm in the process of taking my spoiler off, and I've gotten that middle bolt off fine. The end two are giving me a problem. I have a drill with the socket wrench bit, but none of them fit and I'm trying to get them off with a regular socket wrench except it's a bitch. Any advice on how you guys did it?

I have a socket stuck in my hatch as well. I can't seem to get it out for the life of me. i have a few floating around certain places in my car. they dont rattle or anything so it doesnt bother me I am so relieved I'm not the only idiot here ![]() haha im going to take my spoiler off too, question how do i take the black over from the inside lol? i hope you know what i mean (sorry for thread jacking, but its kinda the same topic) Pry the end (towards trunk) off with a screwdriver, and then just pop the rest off. It's easy once you see how it works. So, it's quite dirty-looking now...I have to get the residue off, still, and figure out exactly how to fit the plugs. Problem is that there's two holes that are circular on the ends and the last one is oval, so it doesn't really fit nicely. However, I'm liking the look. It took an hour or two to get used to, but it just flows so nicely...I'd need JDM tails, an exhaust, some 17's and a lowering job to get it exactly right, but at least it looks better than with the 3-post. If anything, I'd consider throwing a 2-post on. But I like it. ![]() This post has been edited by RickJamesBish: Oct 6, 2008 - 8:35 AM |
