want my car to sound ricey. I will eventually get a cat-back exaust but i wanna get the headers first. -------------------- lol

I ran just the header for something like a month before I got my exhaust done, and there is a sound difference, you MAY feel a little more umph on acceleration but more than likely no.. If you have a CAI or SR than it will just sound even better, CAI was my first mod and when I fired it up the first time it was like a whole new world opened up for me, when I installed the header and fired it up I think I jumped to another world. Adding an exhaust will only make things better, just don't buy a muffler that is too loud. I have a borla xr1 muffler (I think, i don't remember) and it's quite loud but there are many mufflers you can get that aren't that loud but sound good.

From what I've read, if you swap out the original 5sfe (not sure what engine you've got) with a tubular design, you should get improvements all the way around, along with better sound. If you can, get a 4-2-1 header, it'll just make you set up run that much smoother. -TC -------------------- Live your life for yourself. Don't hold back for anything or anyone.
