This morning I was going to my job, it was dark and a bit foggy, coming up to a roundabout and I saw a car also coming up to the roundabout.
I had plenty of time to get in front of the car, but I didn't see the excevator that was driving in front of the other car!! ![]() ![]() ![]() The wheel of the excevator hit me on the left front side, before my wheel and wrecked the whole fender, dented the bumper and dislodged the turn indicator and the hood has shifted a few millimeters to the right 'cause of the hit. Fortunately my JDM lowbeam headlight did survive it. ![]() So after just a few weeks of pleasure of my newly painted car it's going back to the bodyshop. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I'll try to make a few pics tomorrow when I go to the bodyshop. |

I went to de bodyshop today and heard that it would take 800 euro to get the damage fixed.
Luckily only the side was damaged and there is a small dent in the bumper, but they can fix that by heating the area and tapping it back in shape. also the hood was shifted, but it wasn't a big problem. As seen from the angle of impact. ![]() Seen from above. The side is all the way to the enginecompartment dented, but the lowbeam is alright, only the notch that falls in the sidepanel is broken. ![]() |
