its settled then, i'm going to get the tan leather. I hope the ebay covers turn out as good as yours look O.o.

anyone have any ideas on applying leather to the door cards?

Take off the panels, take out the multifiber board inside, and find where all of the leather/cloth is stapled down. Should be in sections. Take out each section, replace with leather, pull tight, re-staple in close to the same staple holes. Make sure that the leather is stretched TIGHT so that you don't get any nasty wrinkles.

Take your time, this isn't an easy process, but it also isn't impossible. I was lucky enough to have stock leather, but I know from experience. When all is said and done, PLEASE post pictures, we all want to see your handy work :-D
