I want to know just how good stock GT brakes are. are they actually decent? do they need alot of work? will a simple fluid, line, rotor upgrade and pad upgrade make them respectable?

I believe its far more cheaper and more convenient to get a Big Brake Kit. Why i say this is because if you go for the st205 brake coversion 1. finding the parts will be tough. 2. Getting them shipped here would be expensive. 3. You'd have to special order the pads and rotors if they aren't in good condition.
From some of the users on here, they found out that the 7th gen gts brakes are almost identical to ours. Why not just go with the SSBC BBK for IIRC $700 and call it a day? Besides I truly believe the factory GT brakes spank the behind. Like some of the guys on here who posted including myself, we're rolling aorund with a 3sgte under their hood and stopping is not an issue. -------------------- 98 Celica gt red- totaled deer
