Ok so my step dad told me that i shouldn't get any exhaust parts for my car. That it would mess with my computer, and wouldn't help with fuel economy at all. is this true? i was planning on getting some headers a high flow cat and a magna flow resonator and combine it all together with 2.25 piping. Do you guys thinks this is a bad idea?

Someone is lying to you LOL. Just look at the vast majority of the people on here - we almost all have a SRI at the very minimum. Some of us are highly BPU'd [see my engine pics for high amounts of BPU's - no codes wink.gif

Its a safety feature so that people like you don't end up killing themselves or everyone around them.
Slow down Paul Walker.
