 Failed Smog, Intake hose fault |

Hi everyone, I just did a smog test for the my registration renewal. I passed all the emissions stuff expect but failed the comprehensive visual inspection due to a craked air intake hose which was just taped together.
 Should I just buy a replacement for the hose from the yard or just install a aftermarket filter? Should I go for Injen or Weapon R or which other brands would you guys recommend? Thanks -------------------- God made man....

Damn it must suck to live in Cali
 In Houston our emissions testing is every bit as strict but you won't fail visual over a mod [Except EGR delete obviously]
