k so iver never driven stick before, but for my new job as a car wash attendant at a BMW dealership
there are tons of opportunities to drive the cars, but i let my coworkers do it because i have no idea one of the coworkers told me its the best to learn at work as u can **** the car up and no one will really care. i prob wont be shifting to 4th gear at all, not evne 3 maybe 2 at most because of the distance we drive to park the cars in the lot after detailing. if someone could give me some pointers on starting the car that would be cool, as more of a type of driving for 5-15mph. |

Since you'll probably be moving around the cars around a parking lot and it doesn't matter how fast you move the car, learn to slip the clutch. For parking manouvers you won't really be going into second anyways, plus its not your clutch, who cares about wear.
If you smell it burning though, you're slipping it too much. Honestly, its not too much of a worry, you'll understand what I am talking about the moment you're operating the thing. Just watch the tach and you'll be good. -------------------- (\__/) (='.'=) This is bunny. Copy and paste bunny into your (")_(") signature to help him gain world domination. |
