This is the engine from my 92' alltrac, I had a JDM installed and I'm selling the old engine.
I have a USDM 3S-GTE with about 60k miles on it. Mechanic who put in my JDM said it was in very good condition. The stock turbo bearings are compleatly destroyed, but I'm guessing that wont matter much here.... Nearly all the tubes and wires have been cut and need to be replaced. It's pretty much a compleate motor without the transmission. I put Royal Purple oil in it, changed every 2000-3000 miles. My car is compleatly stock. (well except for the jdm now I have some pictures from a cellphone, I'll post them soon as I can get them off the phone. It's about 2 hours away from me in a garage right now soon as I have a chance I'll bring a good camara to take better pictures if needed. Compleatly legal in states with emissions inspections. I will not sell parts off of it Buyer pays shipping, starting at $1500 you can e-mail me at zeros \at\ 0sanity.com or message me on aim -> mavenzz kthx This post has been edited by zeros: Oct 29, 2008 - 10:40 PM |

For those in Cali, it is ILLEGAL to drop in the 3sgte engine in exchange of your 7afe or 5sfe. The 3SGTE does not have a EGR and this particular engine is not CALI spec so can't be done.

You are wrong about the EGR--USDM 3SGTE's have EGR (I've owned 2 all-tracs). It's the JDM versions that do not. The JDM intakes do not even have the holes drilled into the intake to be able to bolt EGR up to it--a USDM intake must be used. That being said, it is popular for people to remove EGR on a USDM car and just install block off plates. If anything, it would be illegal to drop a motor in a car that is older than the car it is going in to. Normally, only a same year or newer motor is considered a legal swap. I believe this was federal regulation at one point, e.g. not at the State level, but I don't know if or how the rule exists today. This post has been edited by mnwolftrack: Oct 31, 2008 - 9:08 AM |
