ok here's whats happening i just bought a 97 celica it has a minor build 91 mr2 motor for some strange reason my EFI fuse is blowing and when it is running i press the gas and it is acting like its having a problem climbing rpms i dunno whats wrong with it if you have ne info please let me kno thanks

I don't believe the 91 MR2 engine had a knock sensor.
If so, you have several problems.
First off, your CEL should be on, if it's not, someone disabled it. This is bad.
Second, the engine is going to run like crap because of it.

Your EFI fuse blowing might have something to do with the first thing, and your lack of power something to do with the second thing.

Basically, you need a new engine [92^ from a Celica/Camry or 93-95 from an MR2].

Now if it's not a 91 engine, we have to start over.

no the 91 didnt have a knock sensor i think i just need to get the 91 mr2 ecu
