1) McCains choice as VP speaks volumes. He chose an inept Governor that clearly had no idea what she was talking about. He's decided to run with an inept partner...god only knows what other inept politicians he wouldve surrounded himself with if he did win office.
2) Throughout debates, McCain has said that he was not like Bush. Yet they both have similar views on our economy today. On 09/15/08 he states: "the fundamentals of our economy are strong." hmmm. if the fundamentals of our economy is so great and strong, then whats wth the economy in this country today? Care to explain unemployment rates? This assinine comment tells me that he's totally out of touch with reality 3) Foreign Relations: Obama clearly becomes a more appealing candidate to our allies overseas. Bush has done a complete sh**job in this department. Clearly, there is much more support for Obama than there would be McCain. I wouldve preferred to have had Hillary as prez but oh well. Obama > McCain. This post has been edited by Sh0gunkid8721: Nov 5, 2008 - 2:37 PM -------------------- Note to new members. Discussions such as the ones below are forbidden.

Bush has done a complete sh**job in this department. Clearly, there is much more support for Obama than there would be McCain. I wouldve preferred to have had Hillary as prez but oh well. Obama > McCain. You're exactly the kind of person I love to speak to in real life. The last year and a half or so, I've actively followed all the candidates. I can tell you right now, that I could sit down with you, face to face, and tell you all the views of all the candidates. I guarantee that there are at least a few hundred things I can tell you about all the candidates, that you don't have the slightest idea about. I've been to a Palin rally AND an Obama rally, I've followed it ALL. You are clearly demonstrating that you have a vague understanding of things political. And English, for that matter. Without running to some other website, can you tell me what a Governor does? Could you also explain to me a Governor's role in Washington DC/Congress/National Politics? Do you know WHY Palin seemed out of the loop? Also, do you know WHY McCain picked her, because, let me tell you, there is a real reason. Left and Right media have addressed it. In response to your number 2, do you know what the word 'fundamentals' mean? Also, Obama or McCain, we have enemies overseas that we cannot ally with. It will never happened. Certain countries will _always_ hate America. And no matter who we voted in, we will be in Iraq for years and years to come. We've spent billions upon billions getting over there and building permanent installations, we won't waste that money. We WILL stay in the Middle East for oil-related reasons. Our only hope for oil is the middle east, or more domestic drilling. BOTH of which Liberals are up in arms over. I'm writing an essay right now on why I did not vote for Senator Obama. I will post it here. It is prefaced with a section that addresses how I do admire him, and understand his significance as far as our history goes. But it also talks about how I think he backpedals, his views are skewed, and he will ultimately make our taxes increase, our cost of living rise, and our deficit increase. If you'd like, i can write one on McCain. In fact, I have this whole week off, so I could write one for Hillary, Thompson, Romney, and Ron Paul too. Half of Obama voters don't even know why they voted for Obama, which saddens me deeply. -------------------- |
