wired mine up today and the drivers side opens and closes perfectly. My pass. side opens perfectly but on the close cyle it get stuck. i hear a clicking sound like its the plastic gear thats slipping. Unless i help it close, it will continue to click continuously. Took it appart but didnt know how to get into the gearbox...


any suggestions? maybe grease in a certain spot? was i screwed on my mirrors?? thanks for any help.

on the back of the motor where you have the red and white wires running to it, there should be contacts on the back of the black piece (red arrow in pic) iirc. if so try manually inversing the polarity on the wires to force the motor to close.. this is where a 12V power source becomes useful.

if that doesn't make it close, then something is physically holding it back. i've gone as far as removing the motor and the white round piece but haven't gone to see how the 'gearing' is set up.. so you're on your own from there. good luck dude.
