Hi I've recently installed a headunit and front and rear pioneer speakers. I also have a 4 channel pioneer amplifier and was hoping to use that to power my speakers, only problem is i've never installed an amp before, i did the head unit and speakers but an amplifier is a bit scary. I also have a 15 inch kicker L7 subwoofer sitting in my garage. Just wondering wether anyone know's the box specs for that sub for a vented box. I tried kicker but all they have is 8, 10 and 12 inch specs and they aren't emailing me back either. But yeah any input on wiring a 4 channel amplifier would be greatly apriciated... thanks...

Amp Sert up wil be something along the lines of
Front Left + and - Front Right + and - Back Left + and - Back Right + and - My Setup is this. I'm running 6.5" 3 way in the front doors with tweeters in the "Sail" (See "Curren updates" for the location) 6.5" 2 way in the back. These are running off my 45Watt head unit and are plenty loud for me. My Sub is running off a 4 Channel Amp but set up like this. The front left and right channela are not used. I have bridged the rear left and right. This gives me double the wattes for the sub than using a single channel. This setup may suit you (Flames comming my way I can see) but a lot of people will tell you that th esound from an amp that is not being pushed will sound better. Me I'm happy with what I have. You have not stated the Wattage of your Amp nor your head unit so I cant be more specific than that. I strongly suggest you get a good 8 guage or 4 guage wiering kit to power the amp and this wil lalso give you the amp power on lead and the RCA's. I also suggest you search this site for more information. 1 more suggestion remember to run the power for the Amp on 1 side of the car and the RCA down th eouther to avoid interfearance. Any questions and you can PM me (I'm not an expert but I did a lot of research befor setting up my system and I'm constintly trying to improve it) -------------------- WWSideWinder - 1996 - 3S-FE - Auckland New Zealand
