Hey guys I was just wondering if anyone knows if I need spacers or not because my boss at work gave me a set of winter tires on subaru rims 16x6.5 I tried them on today on the front and the rims look like they almost rub on the caliper assembly. Tire size is 205/55r16

I need some input.. Thanks

Those wheels are OEM 2002-2004 wrx wheels. If you were going to run a spacer I'd put on either a 15mm or 20mm spacer, to bring you out to +40 or +35. Either way you'll need longer studs, and I don't think the back of those wheels will accept an adapter. I think the best idea is to sell them on craigslist for a couple hundred (pending tires and condition) and move on. Too much work involved for something like that. Go find some nice wheels that will actually fit without spacers.

Thanks...Sounds like a plan..i'll prolly sell the rims and keep the tires... The tires are pretty good winter tires and have a lot of tread left..
