Hi guys, ive got a question and i appologise if it has already been covered (but cant find a previous thread that directly answers this.
ive got an st202 3sge, ive somewhat stumbled upon a free (working) ct26 toyota turbo and dump valve...seens as i got these at no cost, i was wondering how difficult (or practical) it would be for me to get a standard gt4 ecu, front mount intercooler and basically set it up onto my 3sge engine???... would the standard clutch/ gearbox cope, need forged pistons? basically can i do it without the car blowing up lol... many thanks in advance.. yh, sounds like its more trouble than its worth i think... i just thought it would be more cost-efficient than an engine swap itself... thanks for the advice anyway. as far as the boost off the ct26, i was thinking (dangerous thing for me) that if i kept standard boost off it, the engine internals could have coped with it???
