so i blew my motor
=[ well shes knocking i just put in 5 quarts of oil in her ....so i think shes almost done so....could i take an ST and put in on of the other motors, with the same mounts in the same place? also im gonna do a manual swap with it....will it be easier to do that while i have no motor? what about swapping in a 4AGE silver top from a 90-96 corolla?? i read somewhere that the A trannys will bolt up to the A blocks... if this is true then The 4AGE will bolt up to my stock auto off my 7AFE, correct?... but are the mounts the same?
the other thing is the ecu, if this motor will work then what ecu am i going to need to run it? im puretty sure that my stock ecu wont work due to the ITBs but this swap seems like it would be the best for power and money because i can get the motor for $490+ shipping.. i just need some info on this so if anybody knows or knows somebody who can point me in the right direction on this, or hook me up with a DIY or just helpful links, it would help out a lot, thanks... -------------------- myspace!!
