 Engine Problem!, Want to see wat you guys might think it is |

Ok. My Celica's leaking a little bit of oil. I checked the engine and found a small leak out the back from between the head and the valve cover. So far ppl have said its the head gasket. The engine also sounds rough at idle. And when its cold (which it doesn't get very cold here in Houston), the engine goes up to 2000 rpm and sounds weird. I'm pretty sure it is the head gasket but also figured i'd try to see if someone could give me their opinion. Another prob is that i'm not sure if it would be only the head gasket. haha i tried to explain the problem as best as i could. So...any suggestions?

You can also use sensor-safe carb cleaner, it too will evaporate away but not damage paint or sensors
Edit: you should take Death up on his offer though - he'll not only help you diagnose your problem, but he'll walk you through it and help you help yourself
