I found this while surfing the web. It is a 4.3MB PDF for those with slow connections it may take a while.
It was scanned in from some magazine, basically these guys run a pretty thorough test on 18 brands of fully synthetic and synthetic blends of motor oil. The results really surprised me!!!! Read it with a large grain of salt. All of those oils have more than enough film strength for your engine, unless you're driving a Cosworth
 Other qualities are much more relevant, but they can't be tested in half an hour with a simple machine. It's pretty much a worthless article. |
