I found this while surfing the web. It is a 4.3MB PDF for those with slow connections it may take a while.

It was scanned in from some magazine, basically these guys run a pretty thorough test on 18 brands of fully synthetic and synthetic blends of motor oil.

The results really surprised me!!!! I really am considering switching my favorite oil [Mobil 1 Supersyn)

That's funny - when we test oils here we do so under accelerated running, exageratedly harsh temps and conditions and for extremely long periods of time.
BTW - Royal Purple is known in the refinery industry to eat engine seals [The same brands and type seals used on automobile engine BTW]. It is the only oil we void our warranties for. Just FYI
