Ok, so I ordered a high output alternator and installed it today. Now as I finished installing the alternator, I cranked it up and let it run for a while. The battery I have in there right now is a Everstart ( one of the small ones ) and only had it for about 1 year. Never had a problem with it even when I installed my system. Now after installing the alternator, I started to crank up my system and then whole sound system cuts off? So I shut off my car for about 2 minutes, now when I go to start her up again, battery is dead! Even when i jump started it and had the car running the current was LOW! If I were to turn on my headlights, then my rev would drop and lights would dim. I have a Tsunami 1.2 farad capacitor as well. My whole system is a JL Audio 450/4 & an MTX 600/1. Is there some reason that my battery died just like that, and the current in the car is running low when it's started? I thought high output alternators was supposed to save your battery not kill it? My voltometer is reading about 9 volts when started and running! PLEASE HELP ME OUT!

This shouldn't be, because I compared it to the stock alternator, and it's WAY bigger than the stock alternator. Anyways, even if it were not pumping the full amount of amps when idling my battery still wouldn't die, would it?
