A few months back a purchused a 1994 gt that had been in a little fend bender. The kids parents were selling the car because clearly he wasn't ready to drive. I bought it for 800 trailered it home and began to inspect the damage. I got underneath the car and it was clean as can be, something very hard to find in NY. Besides the hood and bumper everything else looked pretty promising. The longer the car sat the more i began thinking about doing a swap, not just the motor though, the whole drivetrain. Doing some research and seeing it was dubbed as nearly impossible i thought why not. I got on the phone with Keith at RPMGarage in Japan and after shooting some number back and forth my dreams are coming true. He was able to hook me up with a WRC front clip, the rear diff, an extra 3sgte motor, recarro seats, and some other parts for an amazing price. The parts were just loaded onto a ship and i was told it's gonna be 4 weeks. I'm just super excited and can't wait to start this project. I'll try to keep stuff up to date and post pics when i can.
