Well folks, just back from the Toyota meet and to be fair, with the weather conditions i am more than pleased with the turn out...... It was very cold beside the UK and Ireland biggest lough there was alot of ice on the roads. But still a stream of toyotas came from all over the country. There was 2 ST205 Celicas there, my own included but there was a absolutlely stunning ST162 with a 3SGTE conversion done. Myself and Bazza-GT4 visited this car a few weeks back and in all honesty its the cleanest ST16* i've ever seen and you wouldn't even hear it running its that well maintained. There was some unusual cars there, like a 1984 corolla with a 1.8 bottom end and a 4age head all with a garrett turbo conversion pushing out 241bhp to the front wheels. Also a 1990 MR2 with a 3.0 V6 quad cam conversion from a camry mated to a standard mr2 gearbox talk about torque in a wee car like that. But true to Irish form there was about 30 twin cam coupes there and all if not most of them put on a diffing show at the back corner of the car park. It was great seeing some Supras again as they are very rare on the road these days. Thanks again for everyone making the effort to come along. Also got to see the Lexus that Darragh and Caolan bought for their dad, you can read about that in another thread.

Here's a few pics that i took before the camera died. Enjoy.

Naples no mines is on coilovers but adjusted to perfection for Irish roads. I'm not a fan of as low as you can go as its completely not practical, watch the WRC at the end of january and you'll see why i don't go really low and watch the WRC cars set up, that'll show an example of the majority of roads i frequent, also i have to go over 14 speed bumps to my house numerous times a day.

808celica the majority of the AE86s over here are called Corollas, only the Jap Imports were called Levins or Treunos but they did have different features. And those AE86s cost a fortune over here to buy they are that much in demand, they are selling today at over the prices they were bought for new back in the mid eighties.
