My Celica, primarily in the colder months (but it does happen in the summer, too), seems to let in water. The carpets in the two back seats and the passenger carpet all get soaked, but not the driver's side carpet. I also get a lot of moisture (it even forms water drops sometimes) on the inside of my front and rear windshield. I know the obvious answer is that my car is leaking in water, but i had my mechanic look at it and he didnt know what was causing it. I'm just wondering if any of you guys have had a similar problem or might know what the cause is, thanks in advance

rear quarter glasses having a leak maybe. srpay with a power hose while somebody is inside. I don't think there are any leaks in those windows. When i wash my car the only thing that happens even remotely resembling a leak is that a few drops find themselves on the inside of my door windows when i spray the hose i the seam for a few seconds, but nothing even close enough to get my carpets drenched. Plus i've never noticed anything while driving. I am glad you said that though, because it got me thinking. My passenger side front speaker is blown, and that is the only side in the front that leaks. Maybe there is a connection...? |
