buying and selling Options

Can we make a rule or something that if you are not personally selling an item you cant post it.

Many things from ebay are being posted and people here maybe bidding on that item or planning to bid on it.

I know in the past other people have had things that they were bidding on posted in the buying selling section and I had it happen to me.

I think it ruins the whole auction for a person.

I dont agree with a rule made for this either. Then you would have to be consistent and don't post anything from craigslist, or even say there is a 97 GT vert in my local junkyard, because someone MIGHT have been looking at this one particular part from it. And it would have to apply to entire cars as well as just parts, if you wish to ban outside f/s links then do it universally, not just for ebay addicts who might get outbidded. What if i get all pissy about somebody calling a seller on craigslist before me?! God forbid..

And its not like ebay is a private site or anything, anyone can search for anything anytime. Members helping members is a big part of this site.

Anyway, why don't we just make this a poll and see what everyone thinks? Just a suggestion...
