So i decided to put the normal size tire where the spare tire goes (the one that came with the car), the 14 inch rim with 185/70 size tires where my old donut spare tire used to be. So it sticks out obviously. Being tired of having everything on an uneven level in the trunk i decided to make this with the help of my dad. I saw some other members with a hard plastic that goes around the tire but i wanted a flat surface throughout the whole trunk floor. so i made this:

WHAT WOULD YOU SAY NAY OR YAY???

I do still have the carpet that goes on the back i just didnt cover it so i could show you guys how it fits. I say maybe like 10-15 pounds max like richee said. As you can see that the board it made out of all different types or wood. It wasnt expensive at all, cost me like $10 to make. No it does not jump around at all. Even when i go over speed bumps or little ditches in the road, it stays in place. Although i think i still need one more support in the middle becuase if i push with my hand where it covers the tire it will go down a little but other wise it works really well. biggrin.gif
