Little back ground : I've been in US for ~ 5 years and a couple months, when I came here I knew 0 English, so all this time I've been learning, improving little by little and now I can order a complete meal at McDonald's with no problem lol. me and my brother collect Jordan Sneakers and we think is time to part with some of them as the market price is reasonable and we need more space to store some more. on our search online for price quotes and such, I have stumble across this web page, and honestly some of the stuff I just kind of figure out my logic, some other I just completely ignore. Take a look ! we have a similar issue in Spanish and I'm sure it happens to most languages over the net, but is just sad. -------------------- ![]() |

English is my second language as well, however I've been in this country for a long time now.
I have to say that for only being here for five years your writing skills are a million times better then most people who were born here. That link you posted is a really extreme example, however sometimes I'm really shocked when I read some of the things people write on this site, knowing full well they were born here and should have no problems typing out a few sentences in English. You can pretty much blame all of this on the American school system. I went to first grade in Poland, and when I got here they were shocked that I was pretty much at a 4th grade level. I even knew how to write in cursive, while the rest of the kids were trying to learn how to print and only allowed to use a pencil. They thought I was some kind of child prodigy. -------------------- 15PSI - 30MPG - Megasquirt Tuned
