So I'm driving down 410 in SA last weekend and I saw a truck W/ turn signals on the mirrors.. and I thought, that would be kinda cool to have on my celica.
Well I've been thinking about it and now I've ordered the parts to do it w/. I got 100 amber LEDS and resistors to make it work w/ 13 volts. I'm going to use 5 LEDs on each side, so a total of 10. What does everyone think of this idea. Stupid? Or something you'd want to do or have done for you? Isn't the general idea to have them where you cannot see them untill theylight up? I believe they do that by usng some kind of really thin mirror material or something, but you can't just drill holes and place LEDs then Silicone over it... Well you CAN, but it'd probably not come out so well... Because of having to smooth it out. You cannot sand it; else messing up your exsisting mirror. WHat are you plans to overcome that obsticle?
