does the 5S-FE in the camry from i believe 99 to 2001 i think it is, Have many differences? Ive noticed the Exhaust Manifold on some of those models have Tubular Headers as opposed to the Collective Manifold on my Celica's. Ive also noticed that there power ratings are slightly higher as well? and the Valve Cover looks slightly different as well?

Camry trannys have longer gears - more economy styled since family car while the Celica has shorter gearing for the sportier car feel.
haven't looked up part #s yet, but I know the ratios are different from swapping trannys between celica/camry -Terracar -------------------- '92 ST185, '88 ST165, '05 Galant LS, '08 Legacy
