Hey everyone,i don't know too much about computers but i bought computer parts(moterboard,ram,video card,processor,harddrive,) from new egg.com.me and a buddy put it together but its not working.the computer turns on but their no display, it turns on but doesn't turn off.if any know has any idea it would be great thanks

99.999% of the time this kind of stuff is not the result of bad hardware.
Take out your ram, and your vid card, and reinstall them again making sure they are seated properly. Then reset the cmos on the mother board and try booting again. I've had this kind of stuff happen as a result of something not seating correctly. Also, make sure that you have the 4 prong power adapter connected to the motherboard as well, and the 3 prong to your video card. -------------------- 15PSI - 30MPG - Megasquirt Tuned
