I downloaded Windows 7 on Friday and installed it on my 1.6Ghz Atom netbook with 2GB RAM, and I am impressed with the performance. It's running snappier than XP does, and so far, without problem.

I actually just installed it. It rocks!
Very fast and snappy compared to vista, yet still has all the visual effects. I like it a lot. Might upgrade from xp to this when it finally comes out. Forkee, whatever you were using last october was a pre release alpha, you really cant complain about alpha software that you were not supposed to have in the first place.
