so long story short ill use my bullitens on myspace to explain what happened
Subject: dude wtf Body: so on top of having a concussion i have to have a ****ing cat scan tomorrow to see if i broke my cheek bone. Doc said that is mostly likely whats wrong and the blood from the break is running down my nasal cavity to my throat and thats where all the blood is comming from. If its broken and depressed then im prolly gonna have to have surgery! WTF! All this from FLAG FOOTBALL! Vicodin should kick in in a lil bit so all will feel well soon..... basically i had a head on collision at full speed and got knocked out and suffered a concussion i just want to know what happens in a cat scan like what do they do -------------------- BOOST GETS YOU LAID!!!! |

Yea I had one...its not bad you just need drink this nasty drink, get an iv, and they inject this fluid into it...then u go under this machine kinda like getting an xray.. If I remember correctly its open with a tube opening on the one side....the only thing is the stuff u gotta drink is nasty, the taste disgusting and when they inject w/e into you I think its the contrast(or maybe thats the drink) or w/e its so warm its the weirdest feeling its like this warm feeling that is slowly entering your body.
I also had an MRI when I was real little...that was much worse bc it was of my head and you cant move and ur inside this small tunnel...the cat scan was nothing...didn't take long at at prob like 5-10 mins. I hope everything goes ok and don't worry about the test at all its cake...just get over the taste of the drink. edit... I don't no if everyone pt has to drink w/e it is or if every pt has to get injected with the dye or w/e it is. My test was for abdominal pain its a little different then yours. again good luck.
