ok i drive a 94 st205 wrc edition im trying to find out about a little pot on the charge cooler to the right of the turbo between the cooler and dump valve i think it would have something to do with the anti lag but seeing il never be running it i want to remove it but the car wont run right without it even when all the pipes are looped can anyone help

water injection is just that, its a nozzle in the inlet manifold below the tb that when activated sprays water into the manifold, as the mist of water evaporates it takes heat from the air, hence cooling the air going into the engine, the water itself also has knock prevention properties.

also wrc/group A Rallye have the bonnet spoiler, and headlight washers in the case of the group A Rallye, intercooler spray bar (this is the reason the washer bottle is so frieken huge (6 litres from memory).

i didnt know the wrc/group A ones had one less stud on the manifold...learn something new every day.
