Just wanted to get conversation going on the gt4 stock vs a st205 with turbo added. At the risk of sounding like a complete idiot I am new to all the engine work and differences between the 6th gen celicas.
My real question is can a stock st205 ever compete with the power and all wheel drive system of the gt4, even if you add a turbo? Or what would you have to do (costings also in mind) to the st205 for it to even compare...or could it? Sorry if my ignorance offends die hard celica fans. Im just trying to work out my options of buying a gt4 or buying a st205 and putting the money into it to improve performance. cheers tattooedtoes |

depends on the type of race. Drag... Swapped GT would win because it ways less and other factors AWD would create.
If you ever like to turn... the GT4 would win because it'll handle so much better and will be faster out of the turns. I don't know from experience but that is what I understand would happen. If someone wants to prove me wrong go ahead. Personally I like to Turn once in a while.
